Stegosaurus Waffle

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! My daughter, Nuala, is usually ravenous when she wakes up in the morning. At two years old, she is quite capable of telling mommy what she’s in the mood to eat. As a lover of dinosaurs, Stegosaurus Waffles, are a home run in my house. They are super simple, quick breakfast that incorporates fruit and fun!Toast one frozen waffle. When completed, slice the waffle in half and place on a plate. Slice 1/2 of a banana into round disks and place at the bottom of the waffle (dinosaur’s feet). Wash and rinse 6 strawberries and slice in half. Arrange the strawberries on the top of the waffle (dinosaur’s plates) and reserve on slice for the head. Wash and rinse blueberries, cut 1 blueberry in half and place on top of the strawberry representing the dinosaur’s head.Arrange other blueberries in the shape of a dinosaur tail. Add butter and/or syrup and serve.

Ingredients:

1 Frozen Waffle

6 Strawberries

½ Banana

¼ cup of blueberries
