Blind Motherhood gives me something that feeds my soul. This site and the ability to create and connect with others provide me purpose. Each of us needs to get to know who we are deep within ourselves. You have to be you. Nobody but you. That is the key to finding inner peace. Making a living is not the same as making a life. My deepest wish for each of you is that you find what makes your heart sing and then create your own symphony.
How many people do you know that hate what they do for a living? How many people can you name that go to work every day just to earn a paycheck? You can’t fake passion. And if you’re trying to just go through the motions in your vocational choices then you’re not living the life that God intended you to have.
Think about all the gifts and talents that God has bestowed upon you. Ask yourself how you can match those talents and interests with a career or purpose that can bring out the best in you. It’s not easy, and sometimes we are able to find it only through trial and error—but trust me, it’s worth the effort.
